Lay Back Package
Ideal for the novice or recreational angler looking to learn some more about angling or happy to catch plenty of flathead and predominate species in the bay. Main species caught through the day include Flathead, small shark, some snapper, gar fish. Great for famalies and children and the layback angler.

Target species Whiting flathead, juvenile pinkies, gar fish, banjo shark and rays, Salmon ,mackeral
Start St Kilda Pier, first landing at 10:30 or 11:30am
- All spinning rods and reels load with 8kg line
- Rigged for snapper whiting other species
- Fresh big WA pilchard and strip squid bait/fresh mussels
- Tea/Coffee/Milo
- Sausage sizzle lunch
- Gear supplied, we supply 6-8kg 6" med action gel tipped rods and Penn spinning reels loaded with 8k. All leaders are 10-15kg
- BYO cold drinks and beer
- Fishing grounds include Brighton Banks, Inner Fawkner Beacon banks, Outer williamstown banks

$140 for weekends and $120 for weekday charters. The old adage 'the early bird catches the worm'.. Well the same goes for fishing.If you are serious about your fishing, then get out early!

- We supply highest quality PENN SPINFISHER reels and SPINNING reels loaded with test 10 kg nylon, gel tipped snapp '6 rods. All leaders are 20 kg rigged with small balls sinkersand chemically sharpened hooks.

Notes: The 6 hr charter maximizes your chance of cathing the biggest fish in the bay around snapper season (Oct-Dec) when big hard FIGHTING spawning snapper migrate into the bay and feed heavily at dawn.WE do target other species on the day, if snapper are slow, They include Flathead, pinkies, salmon and other local species.
Whilst there is no guarantee of catching a good snapper you increase your chances by at least 80% fishing before dawn.
